14x30x1 Standard Capacity MERV 11 Pleated Air Filter (Case of 12) Review

Air filters are expensive. However, purchasing them here makes financial sense. there's the gas savings from schleping to the hardware store and there is none of the incessant waiting for an attendant to 'help' you. I have installed them and they actually fit better than the higher priced ones I had used in the past 4 years. This was a smart purchase. I have an odd furnace filter size and my son has many allergies so I have to do a lot of research to find the right filter at the right price. These fit the bill (unlike the very expensive 3M Filtrete Ultra Allergen filters)promising a higher MERV rating at a better price. Two things bothered me when they arrived. They are loose in the box with no protective, sealed overwrap - odd for something so allergy-intensive. Plus, I ordered the 14x24x1 and they're imprinted "14x25x1" which is crossed out with marker, and my size is hand-written on another side. They do fit, however. Short of doing an environmental air flow test, I have to assume the promised MERV rating is correct, hence my lukewarm review.

Precisionaire SM100S Furnace Air Conditioner Filter Review

I never knew this product or type of product existed. Always had to buy the disposable filters that were hard to find size wise because my Victorian style home has unique filter fittings. Not only are the filters so economical as can be reused with simple rinse, but the cut to size makes great fit for my home. I could tell the difference in the way my furnace ran right away. 20x25x5 MERV 11 Carrier Replacement Filter (2 Pack) Review

I'm a little miffed that what I got were not genuine Carrier air filters. I specifically ordered the Carrier brand because the are a trusted brand name, and their products are always high quality. I received generic knock-offs manufactured by a company called "Accumulair". The Carrier logo is nowhere to be found, either on the filters or the box. Guess I learned my lesson. You can't believe everything Amazon puts in their product descriptions. I rated them "OK" because they will probably work. I just don't like the deception.

Northern Industrial Replacement Air Compressor Filter Review

This uses some steel mesh to act as an air filter instead of paper or fabric. The only filtering this will do is from having the air change direction a couple of times. Do your compressor a favor and get it a real filter, or you may be buying a new compressor.
