These filters are not as good as similar filters I have purchased in the past.They do not have any printing on them or arrows to indicate air flow.
I bought this faucet (it does look nice) and the description called it standardized for all reverse osmosis systems. My system is reverse osmosis, but only has a single feed for cold water. This faucet arrived and had three small hoses coming out of it and my handyman/plumber said that water would run constantly through it and that I would be better off with a single feed system. It would cost more to install it with all the new hoses than it was even worth.
My air cleaner was delivered on time by FED X. The delivery guy helped me get it into my garage shop.When I opened it up the only damage I noticed was to the top of the air handler. It looked like someone had crimped a shipping band too tightly without adequate protection under it. The damage was minor and can't be seen once the system is in place next to the ceiling. This system is heavy and awkward to handle. It will take two people to get it in place. Three would make it simpler. I used four long chains and hooks and walked it up to the 91/2 foot ceiling with some help from my wife and a step ladder. The setup directions that come with the cleaner leave a little to be desired.The cleaner has a cardboard box inside the squirrel cage blower that has to be removed. This requires taking the side panel off to get to this. It is easily taken off using the two knurled knobs on the side. The filters are easy to get to for servicing. They slide out. This system doesn't have a automatic controller. It uses an on off and speed selector found on the side of the machine. This is fine for me because I am tall and can easily reach the side controls. The sound when it is operating is similar to my home heat pump air handler.I usually wear ear protection in the shop anyway so the sound is minor. I'm very pleased with the price, capacity, and handling of the system. I can already tell a huge difference in air quality in my shop. I used to clean up only to find fine dust covering everything the next day. Now it stays very clean. It's hard to spend money on something that doesn't create wood shavings for a shop but this is well worth it. Your lungs will thank you. I give it five stars.
just received today am actually using this jet air filtration system in my house in the house wanted to try this for smoking otherwize electrostatic filter is great for dust will see how this works for that but is not as pictured, comes paper framed and looks similar to electrostatic one without the metal support but actual filter is much stiffer
I was expecting a genuine Carrier filter; the 2 pack I received did not appear to be genuine Carrier parts.There were no Carrier markings on the filters and the design was differnt than the Genuine one these replaced.I expected genuine filters since the AMAZON page read "Other products by Carrier" and "Product Features: Carrier MACPAK16".FYI I ordered the 16x25x5 MERV 8 Carrier Replacement Filter (2 Pack).
It works great, couldn't find the size anywhere around my area, but had no problem finding it online.
The filters are a good replacement for the brand name of Honeywell. The dimentions are the same as the orignal. They arrived in a timely manor. The price was one of the best I could find for this type of filter. I would purchase again when I need more.

The size was 1/2 inch too small. This filter is not as thich as others i have bought at WalMart for the same price. Plus I had to use paper towels to fill in the gap. I will not be ordering again!
This filter is too small to be used with the standard 16x25x4 filter housing.It would leave gaps above the filter and on the sides that would allow the dust from the return air ducts to enter the HVAC system.While the product description correctly lists the actual dimensions of the filter, it also falsely bills it as a 16x25x4 filter.I am switching back to using the properly-sized filters from Honeywell and 3M.
The filters are constructed of a cheap cardboard frame, which came crushed on delivery.I tried to install it into my AC using the non-crushed side and it is so flimsy that it bent.Save the money and invest in a sturdier product.
Have used several less expensive HEPA filters in the past with less than stellar results - the Blueair 501 cleans the air more thoroughly - I would wake up occasionally coughing before (most likely due to pet dander) - have not had this happen since running the purifier at night on setting "4" of 5.I also have a neighbor who's second-hand smoke sometimes drifts in through the pipe fittings - the smell has disappeared, too.This unit is more expensive but it's worth it - am very satisfied!
Had this air cleaner about 60 days. It quit rotating. Then after about another 30 days, it became so loud that we were not able to leave it on high during bedtime hours. Usually leave it on low so we don't have so much noise. Was not noisy at all in the beginning. Tried to make contact with manufacturer but never recieved call back.
Everything came just as in the picture, but when u connect the two pipes its far too long. On my 97 Civic Dx it wouldn't fit under the hood untill i cut the second piece of pipe to a third of its length. besides that it's a good product.
Ordered this item on 9/1 09 and as of 10/02 09 have not received it yet. Sent an e-mail and they said that they would send it right away been over a week and stil waiting.
These prefilters are not the exact replacement for the originals in my Honeywell F50F. The aluminum mesh has larger openings and the filter does not fit snugly, thus allowing particles to go around and through the prefilter. The aluminum frame is flimsy. I returned it for a refund but I am out the shipping cost both ways.
Air filters seem Ok so far. Only thing to note is they became slightly warped when installed (from the airflow).... but not so badly to be a concern as of yet.
so far these filters are working very well. they are of the highest quality. i especially like the tight fit in the a/c, it helps stop a lot more dust. the price is excellent a lot cheaper then i can find locally.
This air filter fits my 1972 Simplicity Tractor mower that has a Briggs & Stratton 7 1/2 HP engine.
Filters are okay, but would liked to have had them packed in a plastic bag along with the cardboard box. Expensive

This item is just as good as the name brand for a fraction of the price. Do not let the generic name turn you off. All you look at is the MERV rating and the size. Hint: get as wide of a filter as will fit your furnace. Shipping is great. Item arrived at my door in about a week. They shipped it to me in one big box. Buy it! It is worth your money.
I had so much crud floating around in the air until I bought these. Up until this purchase, I had bought the 3 pack from a local home center store. The "Ace" appealed to me because I could get them in a a greater quantity. This turned out to be a really great thing as I need to change my filters every 3 weeks. Luckily no one has allergies in the household, but when your air filter has little dust bunnies on it after a month, it shows you how well it is taking the stuff out of the air. Even though there isn't a MERV listed in the description, the ones I received have MERV 8 stamped on the side of the filter. I will definitely order these again.
I have severe asthma and working with paints, mold, chemicals of any kind, will set it off.I have been using these filters with the 3m face mask for 2 years now and never suffered an attack, while using the mask or after using it!
arrived quickly, shipping reasonable...easy to install. purposely ordered this item b/c i planned on some touch up painting. in addition to painting with ventilation (open door) ran the air afterwards for 30 min and the odor disappeared quickly.
I'm very pleased with the product. It was easy to cut down to size and install. Plus, I have a lot more confidence in our air quality now with this product compared to the loosely woven fiberglass filter.

The vents in my house are in some inefficient places, and these deflectors really help direct air where it's needed.The vertical vent on the wall in my upstairs hall blows quite a bit of air, but the one in the master bedroom does not.So I put a deflector on the hall vent to direct the air towards the bedroom and it literally made a 5 or 6 degree difference in the bedroom, I have a thermometer in there to measure it.

What they shipped is not the product that they describe. It cannot be used to replace the honeywell filter that they said that it can replace.It's merv8, not the advertised merv12.It is not the same dimensions that they describe.
This looks like is is all metal but it has a bunch pf plastic parts. The oil control either is "a lot" or none - very hard to get "just a little". The pressure regulation seems OK.
I just got an e-mail saying that this was out of stock.Yet the website still says it is still in stock.Shouldn't they be updating the status of this item and prevent others from trying to get it when it isn't available?
The price was better than local Big Box store and the delivery was on time, as well.
This is *almost* identical to the chrome faucet which Watts includes with the WP-5 reverse osmosis kit. Hold the lever down to dispense water, or snap it into an up position to have it stay on.
We all know; these are just expensive about anywhere.However and not that it makes it any cheaper, ordering from here when needed without having to re-research for them does make it easier & convenient.

I find the precisionaire 84804 pleated furnace air filter to be average in quality and performance. I had recently purchased a new gas furnace that comes with a permanent air filter which you must clean. This air filter does not filter out the smallest particles. So the precisionaire filter that I purchased does a much better job than the origional, but not as good as more expensive filters on the market. But the low price was what made the decision for me to buy it. It was a compromise.
Good after market air filter. Fits the same as the OEM type and same quality.
